Dr. Vorst directs the Polymer and Food Protection Consortium at Iowa State University, a leading group focused on developing methods for analyzing extractables in packaging and advancing novel biobased packaging technologies. His team’s acclaimed work in PFAS analysis, multi-layer packaging, and recycling technologies is supported by grants from IAFANS, NCBA, DOE, DOD, and the FDA.
